Welcome to Kruz Ride. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By accessing or using our mobile application, website, or services (collectively, “Services”), you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Kruz Ride’s platform or any associated services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, forming a legally binding agreement between you and Kruz Ride. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

To use Kruz Ride and its services, you must be at least 18 years old. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements and have the authority to enter into a legally binding agreement.

3. Services Provided

Kruz Ride connects passengers (“Riders”) with independent drivers (“Drivers”). Kruz Ride does not provide transportation services but acts solely as a technology intermediary between Riders and Drivers, who are independent contractors and not employees of Kruz Ride.

4. User Accounts

To access our Services, users must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Kruz Ride is not liable for any losses due to unauthorized access to your account.

5. Safety and Accessibility

Kruz Ride is committed to providing a safe and inclusive experience for all users. Our platform tracks trips in real time via the app to enhance safety and accountability. Drivers are vetted through background checks and required to meet vehicle inspection standards. Additionally, we offer a range of accessible vehicle options to accommodate passengers with disabilities, and 24/7 customer support is available to address any safety or accessibility concerns.

6. Payments and Fees

  • Fare Structure: Riders are charged based on factors such as distance, vehicle type, and time. All fares are displayed before ride confirmation.
  • Payment Method: Payments are processed via the mobile app using the Rider’s provided payment method. By adding a payment method, you authorize Kruz Ride to charge all applicable fees.
  • Cancellation Fees: Cancellation fees may apply if a Rider cancels a ride after a Driver has accepted.

7. Driver Conduct and Responsibilities

Drivers are required to provide safe, professional transportation and comply with all local laws and traffic regulations. Drivers must maintain appropriate insurance in accordance with legal requirements in their jurisdiction.

8. User Responsibilities

  • Riders: Riders must provide accurate pickup and drop-off information, follow Driver instructions, and respect the Driver and their vehicle.
  • Drivers: Drivers are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and fully operational vehicle. Discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, or other protected characteristics is strictly prohibited.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes
  • Impersonate others or falsely state affiliations
  • Interfere with the functionality of the platform
  • Engage in activities that harm Kruz Ride’s reputation

10. Termination

Kruz Ride reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for violations of these Terms or other inappropriate conduct. Users may also terminate their accounts by contacting customer support.

11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between you and Kruz Ride must first be resolved informally by contacting customer support. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

Kruz Ride provides its platform “as is” without any warranties. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or completeness of Services, or for any damages or injuries that may occur during transportation by third-party Drivers.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Kruz Ride and its affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the Services or violations of these Terms.

14. Privacy Policy

Use of our Services is subject to Kruz Ride’s Privacy Policy, which governs the collection, use, and protection of personal information.

15. Changes to Terms

Kruz Ride reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the website or app, and continued use of the Services after changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
